Yeah, screw making an introductory post, and just dive right into art-related madness!

So, guess what? I just now today found out exactly what a tablet was. I knew that it had to do with digital art, and thought it was a photoshop-like program. But now everything makes SO MUCH MORE SENSE! Seriously, I was amazed at what I thought to be a multitude of people who were just really good at drawing with a mouse.

So, now that I am aware of this space-age technology, I'm thinking I might have to go and get me one. I mean, it is a much better alternative to the scanner, which always scans in this non-existent smudge onto a lot of things, which is some sort of thing on the inside of the glass. I'm not sure what's up with that.

Of course, that also leads me to reconsider getting photoshop. I mean, MS Paint is a fine program and all, but it can only go so far. I'm sure if I were to get a tablet, my drive to create art would increase, and with photoshop, I'd be able to hide the shoddiness of my work with pretty colors.

This, however, leads to the main hindrance; I am poor. I find myself between jobs, in some amount of debt, and needing to save up for many a thing. So.... I'll have to put it on hold for now. In the meantime, I guess I'll have to be content with pencil and paper, and then erasing the smudges as best I can in Paint.... *Sigh*
